Celebrate Switzerland's birthday in Brunnen with Swiss traditions. A two-day celebration awaits you with musical entertainment as well as food options and a gigantic fireworks display over Lake Lucerne.

The celebrations in the village will last from 31 July until the early hours of 2 August. The road closures in the centre of the village allow for a larger promenade and gastronomy zone, which invites visitors to linger. They will be supported by a large open-air stage and smaller stages with live music ranging from Ländler to pop/rock. And of course there are rows and rows of festival benches and tables. Just sit down and enjoy the various food options and the incredible atmosphere.

Fireworks display

The fireworks on the lake in front of Brunnen will take place on 1. August from 22.00 to 22.15. Come to the lakeside and marvel at the fireworks being shot into the evening sky from the Nauen, illuminating it and reflecting off the surface of the water. The fireworks will be accompanied by appropriate music and broadcast on Radio Central. In the village centre you can listen to the music via loudspeakers, outside the centre you can listen via Radio Central Webplayer or Radio Central APP.
