At the Highland Games Innerschweiz, strong men and women compete in the traditional disciplines of the Highland Games.
The Highland Games Central Switzerland take place in Brunnen in July. The strong men and women compete for honour in the Scottish disciplines of stone throwing, weight throwing, hammer throwing and tree trunk throwing. In addition to the actual Highland Games competitions, there will be other traditional Scottish highlights such as music, dancing, Scottish cuisine and, of course, lots of kilts. Musical entertainment will also be provided.
The last Highland Games took place from 15 to 17 July 2022. The next edition will take place again in mid-July 2024 - the exact dates are not yet known.
