Every year, a Swiss personality gives the eagerly awaited 1 August speech on Switzerland's founding meadow. Enjoy the great atmosphere, sing the national anthem and take a free boat ride to the Rütli and back.

This year, the SGG invites all women and women's associations to the Rütli to celebrate 50 years of women's suffrage and voting rights in Switzerland on 1 August. The style and programme of the celebration will differ from the previous tradition.
There are NO Rütli tickets available this year. Only those who have received a personal invitation to the celebration will be admitted to the Rütli on 1 August.
Extra boats will be running for the invited visitors. The invited visitors must - before they are allowed on the boat to the Rütli - check in at the Auslandschweizerplatz for the Covid certificate.
The Rütli will be closed to all other visitors on 1 August. The SGV scheduled boats do NOT call at the Rütli station.
