The Seebad Lido in Brunnen is ideal for taking a dip in the refreshing water of Lake Lucerne or enjoying a short time-out from everyday life.
The lido is a small swimming facility by the lake and features a well-tended sunbathing lawn. Guests can bring along their own reclining chair. The lawn can also be used for ball games, badminton or other group games. There is a gently sloping gravel beach by the shore – ideal for families and children.
The lido offers direct access to the Seerestaurant Lido, where guests can enjoy food and drinks. The range includes snacks, delicious lunch menus and refreshing summer drinks that can be enjoyed on the terrace with lounge furniture and breathtaking views of the alpine foothills. The restaurant is open every day in summer and closed on Mondays in winter.
The lido is situated near the village centre. From the Brunnen boat landing stage, the lido is approximately 10 minutes’ walk along the lakeside promenade, past the foehn wind-protected harbour. There is pay-and-display parking available.
The Seebad Lido is open all year, though the summer months from May to September are, of course, when it is used for swimming and sunbathing.
The lido is free to use. No entry fee is charged, but there are also no lifeguards on duty.
