The former tennis court at the Seehotel Waldstätterhof in Brunnen is home to an 18-hole minigolf course. It sits by the shore of Lake Lucerne, between the hotel and Auslandschweizerplatz (‘Square of the Swiss Living Abroad’) and thus also right by the newly built children’s playground.

The minigolf course impresses with its extremely varied concrete fairways, also known as bongni. The bongni date back to 1953. These concrete fairways were named after the game’s founder. The aim of the game is to get the golf ball in the hole with as few strokes of the golf club as possible. There are 18 standardised fairways available for this purpose, each 12 metres long and 1.25 metres wide. One of these, the driving range, is around 25 metres long. Obstacles such as doors, figures and undulations in the course increase the levels of difficulty and fun.

During the game, you can not only count the number of strokes but also enjoy the splendid view of Lake Lucerne and the Swiss Alps. You can dine at the buffet restaurant located directly by the minigolf course.
