Hello mÄÄH-tenand on the new theme and adventure trail «Goat Trail». Go on a discovery tour with Kira and Jacky and learn exciting facts about goats in a playful way.
The sweet little Saanen goat lives with her family on the beautiful Blüemlisberg goat farm, high up at 1,200 metres above sea level, in the Sattel-Hochstuckli hiking and ski region.
The world's first revolving gondola lift takes you directly to the Sattel-Hochstuckli family mountain. Once at the top, the Geissä Wäg begins after a few metres. It leads on easy terrain along a fantastic panorama. From the Mostelberg mountain station, the trail leads along a wide path to the Blüemlisberg goat farm. Practically the whole way you have a unique view of the southern Alps or the Mythen massif and the Muotathal mountains. When you arrive at Blüemlisberg, you can expect a breathtaking view of the Mythen and the world's best «goat-cool» goat's milk ice cream.
The theme and adventure trail contains seven interactive stations where the world of goats is explained in a playful way. Fun, games and lots of educational activities for the whole family. Every child can help themselves to a goat booklet at the start board at the mountain station or at the Blüemlisberg goat farm, in which the «Goat Trail» is explained and the solution to the riddles at the posts can be written down.
Suitable for prams (suitable for off-road use), but not recommended for wheelchair users.
Various food & barbecue facilities
The Geissä Wäg is not a circular trail, but can be continued as the Engelstock circular trail.
Depending on the weather, the path is also open in winter.
