Under the guidance of one of the Victorinox experts, you can hand-assemble what is probably the best-known model of ‘Swiss Army Knife’, the Spartan. This model was invented by Victorinox’s founder Karl Elsener and patented on 12 June 1897. So it all began with the Spartan, with many other models featuring a whole variety of functions following over the decades.
