Owing to its proximity to the ‘mother ship’ (i.e. the SCHULER winery), the SCHULER specialist wine shop in Seewen is something truly special. Here, you can feel the strongly beating heart of this Schwyz-based company dating back over 300 years.
Something else that makes this shop special is the ambience – the building was once a horse stable. The wooden ceiling still stands as testimony to the site’s former use. Thanks to embedded ‘stone walls’ and large wooden barrels that serve as doors, this specialist wine shop in Seewen is very authentic and offers the right blend of tradition and modernity – something also reflected in the range of SCHULER wines.
In April 2014, we opened our new bistro with its modern, automated tasting facility. This attractive space is also the starting point for a variety of guided tours through the SCHULER coopers’ workshop, barrel cellar, bottling plant, high-bay warehouse and the Vinalytik facility, a high-tech wine analysis centre. These guided tours are organised by us in the SCHULER specialist wine shop in Seewen and we are truly passionate about them. Following their tour, visitors are happy to relax in the bistro and enjoy a delicious ‘Plättli’ (a dialect term for ‘platter’) to accompany their wine tasting. At the specialist wine shop in Seewen, you will now also find a charging station for electric vehicles. Make use of this additional service: you can charge your electric car free of charge while visiting our shop or enjoying one of our tours!
