No slowUp? Discover the slowUp region actively and win great prizes!
Due to the coronavirus situation, the slowUp Schwyz-Swiss Knife Valley 2021 in spring unfortunately had to be cancelled. Nevertheless, we invite you to actively discover the slowUp region when it suits you best with the alternative offer "slowUp yourself! Ride the route from 15 July to 31 October 2021. For once, not in crowds but individually and in a relaxed atmosphere.

The Schwyz basin with Lake Lauerz and Lake Lucerne offers a unique landscape for a varied slowUp in the heart of primeval Switzerland. The historic and idyllic villages along the route are always worth a visit.

A little incentive: All those who are on the alternative route and have visited all the checkpoints are automatically entered into a draw for attractive prizes.

Safety information
«slowUp yourself!» is not an event and does not take place on closed roads, but primarily on cycle paths or side roads. For the most part, the route follows signposted routes of Veloland Schweiz. The route can be cycled in both directions. It is recommended to cycle counter-clockwise. Due to the surface in Schwyz (cobblestones, only short sections), the route is unfortunately only suitable for inline skaters to a limited extent. Please follow the traffic rules. It is recommended to wear a helmet when cycling.

Particular caution is advised on sections on main roads in Brunnen, Ibach SZ, Schwyz and Lauerz and at the main road crossing in Seewen SZ. Recommendation with children: Drive carefully on main roads, let children ride on the pavement if necessary and use the pedestrian crossing a little to the north at the main road crossing in Seewen SZ.

Equipment
Bicycle, bike, e-bike or inline skates, helmet, appropriate clothes and whatever else you want to bring.
Author’s advice
The route can be started anywhere.
