Beautiful hike from Saliboden via Silberen to Pragel.
The starting point of the hike is Saliboden. From here you can reach Glattalp either on foot or comfortably by cable car. On the right half way you can admire the Märenbrunnen, a spring high up in the rock.Glattalp is one of the most attractive areas in terms of landscape and is known for its Siberian temperatures (down to -50° C). The path leads past the chapel and SAC hut to Pfaff, a breathtaking vantage point. The view to the northeast widens and in front of us lie the huge Charetalp plateau and the wild karst fields around the Pfannenstock. In contrast to the Glattalp, where hundreds of cattle are summered, on Charetalp and Brunalpeli we meet mainly sheep. On the Charetalp lies the 1982 archaeologically investigated deserted site "Spielplätz", a long gone alpine settlement dating back to the year 1000.Now the path leads through ancient karst fields to the highest point of the hike, the Brunalpelihöchi 2207 m.
