The hike with the best view of the Mythen and over the alpine world, lakes.
We start our hike about 100m from the top station of the cable car Morschach-Stoos, where we turn into the Stooswaldstrasse in the direction of Morschach. In the middle of the forest we turn into the hiking trail at the turnoff Jochli-Eu. Through the shady forest we reach the pasture area of Alp Eu without much effort. Now the ascent of the north face of the Fronalpstock via the Bärentros path begins. The mountain path is easy to master, but requires good surefootedness. After we have passed the big spruces and gnarled pines, we reach the western flatter alp area of the Fronalpstock. To the west we continue uphill. At the latest here we notice why the path is called Aussichtsweg. The whole valley basin of Schwyz lies at our feet. At the Charenstöckli we make the short tap to the Chänzeli. This gives us an overview of Morschach. From now on we have only one goal left, the Fronalpstock summit. Here we first enjoy the view of over ten Swiss lakes and countless Alpine peaks. We follow the Panoramaweg Fronalpstock and descend towards Furggeli. From there we descend further into the quiet Frontal and follow the small mountain stream until we are back in the mountain village of Stoos. Passing Stoos-Seeli we reach again our starting point at the cable car.
