The excursion to the Rotenflue starts with the mountain bus ride to the Ibergeregg (from Schwyz/Rickenbach, zone 670). The bus winds through countless curves on a narrow mountain road towards the pass and ends with the Rotenflue train ride down into the valley to Rickenbach. The round trip is also possible in the opposite direction.
Arriving at the Ibergeregg pass summit, you enjoy the view of both sides of the pass before starting the hike to the summit of Rotenflue. On the way, you will not only be tempted by impressive panoramic views, but also by several beautiful mountain restaurants with sun terraces and playgrounds.
Once on the Rotenflue, enjoy a 360° panoramic view and a view of the Grossen Mythen. With the gondolas of the Rotenflue cable car you return to the valley to Rickenbach/SZ.
