Find out about the cradle of switzerland from the water. There are places steeped in history on the shores of Lake Lucerne. For example the Schillerstein, the Rütli meadow or the Tellsplatte. From the Brunnen canoe station you can start an unforgettable canoe adventure. Especially impressive is when you paddle through a rock gate or look up the 380-metre high cliffs. On the way, various resting places invite you to have a picnic or a jump into the cool water.
After your arrival at the canoe station Brunnen you will receive a 30-minute instruction in paddling technique and route planning. You will also receive safety instructions and helpful tips. You can choose between different routes that you want to paddle. The tours last the whole day. You will receive the appropriate map material and the route will be explained to you in detail. Then the canoe with paddle as well as a life jacket will be handed over to you and you will get into the boat.

The canoe tours start at 09:00 and end between 15:00 and 17:00 depending on the route. During the morning instruction the time of return will be determined. However, the canoes must be returned to the canoe station by 17:00 at the latest.
The morning is the best time to start. The wind is weak, there are still a few boats on Lake Lucerne and most importantly - the small rest areas are not yet occupied.
During storms and heavy thunderstorms no boats are rented.
